Compare and contrast differing sociological perspectives of health and illness.     Look at the

Social Class – different social groups – middle class and working class life expectancies between the two groups. This is a very important factor in shaping our lives. Good and worse health areas. E.g  Glasgow East and South East of England.
Gender – what are the life expectancies of both men and women. Infant mortality rate and also between boys and girls
Ethnicity - Ethnic groups common health issues e.g. Irish, Asians, Afro Caribbean’s, Africans, Jewish, British etc.
