Explain the connection of Slippery Slope to Kahneman's “Thinking Fast and Slow”. By thinking positive thoughts Slowly and purposely (System 2), your fast (automatic) thoughts (System 1) will also turn out to be positive.
An example of when this happens is when the brother got cancer and handled it by choosing to think positively using system 2, which made him be optimistic in System 1.
