Introduction
    Organizational development can be considered as the efforts made to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization taking into consideration the human capital, structure of the organization and the processes and technologies deployed by the organization. Leaders play a key role in the development of an organization as they provide directions to the human resources of the organization to meet the organizational goals and objectives.
Literature Review
Example of Organization Displaying Organizational Development
    Organizational development interventions act as the building blocks or planned activities, which have been designed to optimize the operations of the business with the participation of organizational leaders. An excellent example of leadership contributing to the development of the organization is that of Toyota (The Guardian, 2010). The leadership of the organization decided to dig deep into the matter of faulty accelerator pedals by answering to the queries of the customers and the employees of the company, rather making press releases. This helped the organization to re-bounce back and create a positive market outlook. Their leaders displayed excellent leadership qualities that assisted the organization to gain their lost reputation.
