TO BE ANSWER FROM THE
TUTOR’S VIEW POINTS EACH QUESTIONS FOR 80 WORDS THANKS A LOT

1)

A network operations center (NOC) is a centralized location
where IT teams can continuously monitor the performance and health of a
network. The NOC serves as the first line of defense against network
disruptions and failures((NOC)?, n.d).

  • What

are the three key factors that you would consider in picking a location

for a Network Operation Center? (NOC)?

The facility. Can the building safely hold all the equipment
in it, can it keep the climate cool for all the equipment? Is the building
secure? The entrance to the back of the building must be secure from intruders.
Man-made disasters are a threat does the facility have plans for man-made
disasters? For example, in case of a bomb threat, the facility needs to line
the walls with Kevlar. The windows could be laminated glass.

The location. Is it in a secure area? Geographically what
natural disasters are there that the company needs to protect the facility
from? For example, is the facility in an area where there are tornadoes? Use
tornado-resistant glass for the windows.

Physical security of the building and property. Security
needs to be at the entrance of the cars coming in. A guard shack to check all
vehicles coming in. If there is a back entrance for a dock, then there needs to
be a guard shack in the back to check all vehicles coming in the back to dock.
A station at the entrance into the building to check all personnel coming into
the building. All personnel needs a badge to get up to the upper-level floors.
Security cameras at all entrance points. Camera at the door to the main
equipment. IT and administration only into the equipment area only. All doors
have a bio locking door including a key door.

  • Which

of these do you think is the most important? Why?

Choosing the building. Make sure the building has enough
power from the main power to a backup generator in case of a disaster. Is the
building equipped to handle all the equipment? The climate of the building
needs to be cool enough to keep the equipment cool. Security is important.
Making sure all entrances are covered. The elevator is secure with a security
team to check all badges.

  • Discuss

at least 5 areas of physical security that you would pay attention when

constructing a NOC. (For this assignment, you should also consider natural

    disaster and man-made disaster).

Entrance and exit of the parking lots to the building and
front and back doors. Employees badge to the elevator and what floors they are
allowed to go on. The door to the equipment room needs to be monitored. Storm
windows for natural disasters. Fire retardant walls in case of fire. Security
cameras around the building, and at key areas of the facility.

  • What

are some concerns regarding wireless security when planning for disaster

and how does this fit into your business continuity plan?

A business continuity plan is a plan in case of a natural
disaster like a hurricane or a man-made disaster like a bomb threat. The plan
creates ways to operate when a disaster occurs. BCP is created by first
checking for vulnerabilities that can occur during a disaster and having
preventive measures in place in the event of a disaster. The concerns regarding
wireless security are too much network traffic that no one can get through and
the concern of if there is enough support for communication during a
disaster.

What are the three key factors that you would consider in picking a location
for a Network Operation
Centre? (NOC)?
1. Facility - Can the structure maintain its environment cold enough for all the equipment to operate safely inside? Is the structure safe? The building's rear door must be impenetrable to invaders.
Does the facility have strategies in place to address the hazard posed by man-made disasters?
Disasters - For instance, the building must line up in the event of a bomb threat.
For example: The Kevlar on the walls.
Laminated glass might be used for the windows.
2. Location - Where it is? Is it in a safe location? What geographical natural calamities occur; thus, the business must safeguard the facility from?
For instance, is the facility near a tornado-prone area?
Use windows with glass that is tornado-proof.
3. Physical protection of the structure and the things –
