Three weeks ago, you worked ten extra hours to complete an important rush project for which you were supposed to receive overtime pay. Your current pay stub does not include the overtime pay. Therefore on Monday, February 1, you sent Tiffany, who does the payroll for your department, a polite email asking that she check into the issue. Since you have not received a response by the following Monday, you again sent her an email. Instead of responding to you directly, she copied you on an email sent to the payroll department, asking that they confirm receiving an email from her on February 1 with your revised pay. The email paints you in a negative way. This copy is the only response you have received from Tiffany. You did not receive an earlier response telling you she had received the original email and was investigating the problem. How do you feel? What options do you have?
