Introduction
The art of music connected with the vocal and instrumental sound. Music generally referred as an emotional expression. Sometimes it combines with the cultural standards, melody and rhythm and in case of western music; it connects with harmony. It contains simple folk music as well as the electronic composition. In the history too, music shared important association with the dramas and historical rituals. As mentioned by Bauza-Wahiman (2018), the art of music has a capacity to influence and reflect human emotions.
The possibilities has exploited by the popular culture lie musical theater, internet, televisions, radio and films. As indicated by Martin and Jacobus (2014), to create music requires inspiration and creativity. Moreover, at the very least, to mimic or play tribute to somebody else's music demands a certain amount of skill or talent. Frederic Chopin was a Polish-born pianist and composer.
Formal Qualities of Chopin’s Music
Frederic Chopin’s music set to be romantic hero in his bicentenary year. His music is well famous for its captivating moods and gracefulness. His all music wrote for solo piano. The well-known quality of the Frederic Chopin music is its uniqueness. The playing style is light, had flexibility and delicate enough. His music is capable enough to create different layer of emotions to the listeners. His music seems more intimate in the drawing rooms instead of Concert Hall; I guess that is the reason why most of the people connect with his music.
Chopin wrote almost entirely for piano, a percussive instrument, on which you cannot generate tone. There is no breath control, no vibrato, basically no control over the sound of the note, no after touch, all you can do is press and release the notes in sequence at different velocities. As stated by Martin and Jacobus (2014), the melodies of the Chopin’s music, which includes counterpoint, harmonies, chord patters, arpeggios and runs just do not sing, they usually emote. Frederic Chopin has mastery in AB form, all forms whether it is ABAm AABB and other forms as well.
