This project will be about the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. These include:
the Great Pyramid at Giza, Egyptthe Hanging Gardens of Babylonthe Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Greecethe Temple of Artemis at Ephesusthe Mausoleum at Halicarnassusthe Colossus of Rhodesthe Lighthouse of Alexandria, Egypt
What I want you to do is to choose one of these wonders, do some research about it, then to put all your findings in a series of image in PowerPoint or Prezi. While you will not actually present your PowerPoint or Prezi to an audience, your should think of it a a creative canvas on which to put what you discovered about your wonder. Make sure to check the rubric to see if you did all the components of this assignments, but here is what you must do:
1. select one of the ancient wonders
2. research the chosen wonder, find out about who made it, why they made it, how they made it, what it looked like, what its meaning was, and what happened to it
3. make a PowerPoint or Prezi with at least ten slides (not including the introduction slide and the works cited slide)
4. make sure that at least three of the slides have images and seven have significant portions of descriptive, informative text
5. add in introductory slide at the beginning with your name and your chosen wonder, add a works cited slide at the end where you cite your sources
6. you will need to cite at least 5 sources for this project, in MLA((10 powerpoint slides please))******
