This paper requires the student to pick anorganization (it can also be an industry) andusing the material covered in the first six weeksdesign a strategic project management initiative.Topics to be covered include (and are not limitedtoo) type of projects to be solicited, projectselection criteria, what level of risk theorganization is willing to accept, identify links tocompetitive strategy, measures of projectperformance, if a PMO is to be established andhow, how it will be implemented, etc. Furtherclarification will be generated during the first sixclass meetings.
