STATEMENT OF TASK I’ll collect the average yearly temperatures and hottest days of the year over the past 30 years (1982-2011), using above websites and might collect some more data from other sources. I will analyze and graph the data and try to determine if there any similarities between the ways the temperatures evolved in these three cities. INTRODUCTION

This article deals with how the average hottest and coldest temperatures among
cities evolve over time. Three cities have been selected for this study: Bangui
which is i
n Central African Republic, Johannesburg which is most important city
of South Africa, and Warsaw which is capital city of Poland. The average hottest
and coldest temperatures of these cities have been collected for the past 30 years
to find how average hottest and coldest temperature changes over time. This
study also finds whether the distance from the Equator was a factor in the
change of temperature in the cities.

STATEMENT OF TASK

I collect the annual average yearly hottest and coldest temperatures for these
three cities over the past 30 years for the period of 1982 to 2011. The data have
been collected from the websites and might collect some more data from other
sources which are given in the reference. The data are presented in the appendix.
First the data have been presented graphically to see how the average hottest
and coldest temperature changes over the period. Secondly I find the correlation
among the average temperature of cities to determine if there any similarities
between the ways the temperatures evolved in these three cities. I also chosen
these cities because are one the same latitude and then I would be to come up
with some sort of conclusion.

PLAN OF INVESTIGATION

Using the collection of average hottest and coolest temperatures of all three
selected cities it is possible to come up with a reasonable thesis of the correlation
within the countries regarding to factors affecting the temperatures in each of
the cities. Nevertheless the fact that some websites state different temperatures I
will be looking at the most reliable and recognize ones.

MATHEMATICAL INVESTIGATION

The collected data on each average hottest and coolest temperatures for the
period of 1990-2011 for the selected three cities are presented in Table 3. The
temperatures of Warsaw of Poland are obtained from the following webpage:

The temperatures of Cape Town of South Africa are obtained from the following

South-Africa
The temperatures of Bangui of Central African Republic are obtained from the
following webpage:

http://weatherspark.com/history/29063/1990/Bangui-Central-African-
Republic

The hottest and coolest temperatures of Warsaw are graphically presented in
fig.1. The data shows that Warsaw a city in Poland has a balance on temperature.
The temperature is not steady and varies depending on the season. However, the
coolest temperature is more volatile than the hottest temperature. The coolest
temperature is much below of zero.
The hottest and coolest...
