This is another classmates question (I just need to respond in 250 words or less):Hi Class,
My research is a qualitative study. Qualitative data analysis for me seems like a daunting task. I won't be able to determine if I am on track with writing this section. My revised prospectus did not get feedback on that section. Data analysis is one of the parts I struggle with considerably. The problem I encounter is that qualitative data analysis does not follow a formula-like procedure that can be systematically and analytically applied. Which method of analysis to choose is the question that makes the data analysis a big issue for me? Do I go with thematic content analysis, narrative analysis, or a deductive approach?
Work-life-school balance has been a severe challenge for me. I was surprised about the feedback I got because I was not confident in the work I have put out. I will keep writing and boost my confidence when it comes to my research journey.

R: I find the qualitative study to be new for me. I have not done research doing qualitative research. However, I am interested in learning how to do the thematic analysis.
