This is an HR project for baseball batting cage in a resort. The instructions are basic, all you have to do is research the 4 jobs below and find what’s being asked of each. Marketing Plan Paper Human Resources Plan Paper Guideline (100 Points + 10 Bonus Points) Students will work with a group of 3-4, depending on the number of students in the class (i.e., to be assigned during the second week of class). Each group will work to create a NEW, but realistic, division within Pine Shores Marina, a comprehensive resort with outreach to the local community. The team will work to create a well-researched and comprehensive Human Resources plan that includes the rationale behind the business/organization (including the Division), the organizational profile, the strategic focus and plan, situation analysis, hiring and training, evaluation, compensation, and quality control. The project should be based on in and out of library research, the materials covered in the class, news/journal articles, research on organization-specific information, personal interviews (e.g., in person, email, phone), comparison to the industry norm, other organizations in and out of the industry, field trips to similar organizations, and interviews with professionals. The assignment will consist of: · Executive summary (a summary of the plan. NOT an introduction). · An overview of the organization: its history, mission, vision, values, goals, processes, industrial trends, and of the Division. · A description of the jobs in the Division and their design. · An outline of staffing procedures including recruiting, hiring, and training. · A description of the performance appraisal and reward systems. · An explanation of the leadership provided by senior managers. · A description of levels of satisfaction and commitment among organizational members and evaluation of these issues. Each group will report a brief description of your HR plan topic (i.e., name and kind of your company) in advance (during Group Planning). Point Breakdown 1. Table of Contents (2 points) · Include section title and subtitle of your text and page numbers. 2. Executive Summary (no more than two pages)(10 points) · A synopsis of the human resources plan. · Summarize the organization, particularly your division, and plan/proposal · Overview of all pertinent areas 3. Training Philosophy
In order to perform each job successfully, training is mandatory as it can lead higher to production with fewer mistake and great job satisfaction. Hence, training is utmost needed to guide the employees, towards right track in order to achieve their goals. Hence, training has lot many benefits, which include increased efficiency of employees, reduced the supervision, better training to baseball players and better management of the baseball matches.
Rationale
This is important because it helps strengthen the labor and management relationship, increase self-confidence, the motivation level and as a result, the employees can work smoothly and produce constructive and productive works (Slavic and Berber). In any HRM organization training as well as development has remained one of the main functions as it refers to the systematic set where the employees were instructed and taught about the new system and technology related to their jobs.
Overview for the Jobs
The job, in this regard, is for a baseball-batting cage in a resort, for which training is to be provided to the newly joined employees who are not accustomed with the environment and make them feel comfortable with new set up. The trainer has to perform several crucial roles in order to meet the principle of the training procedures and prepare the trainee perfectly suitable for the company (Guest). The principles include motivation, feedback, reinforcement, active participation, effective communication, identification of individual differences, analysis of whole versus part and many more.
