This is an group assignment for my project management class.I have a draft of the resources and resource list for you to review and add corrections. I need a risk list and constraints list.
My task/responsibilities areresource list, stakeholder/sponsor list, commitments with signatures and risks and constraints.

This is the assignment.You are an executive team responsible for moving your company to a new building. Create a company name, the type of business and as many fictitious employees and outsource companies that you need to to accomplish your goal of a smooth and complete transition to the new building to take place over one three-day weekend. The only fixed dates for your documents are the new building should be completed July 15th. And the move will happen the week of August 5th, 2019. Use your imagination on all pieces.In the first meeting (by April 22nd) your job is to:

Elect a project manager
Divide up the pieces of the Project Charter
include the business case, project scope, background, milestone schedule, risks & constraints, resource list, stakeholder list, commitments with signatures.
Refer to Contemporary Project Management Chapter 3.


In the second meeting (by April 26th) the assigned deliverables will be submitted by the individual that did the assigned parts. The elected project manager will combine the parts into one document named "Project Charter" and submit in the assignment dropbox.

Project Charter is a type of informal contract between the project sponsor and the project manager. It helps both parties to carry on the project under certain rules to attain maximum results. Project Charter serves many purpose like it authorizes the project manger to proceed, it helps to develop a common understanding among all the people assigned the project, it help in commitment from all people involved and it screens out any poor projects. The charter helps all the stakeholders of the particular project.
The Project Charter for shifting Edward Enterprise to a new building in August 2019 has the following components. The project manager for this task would be Mr. Smith who will look after all the project details.
Business Case
Edward Enterprise office needs to shift in a new building that would be complete by 15 July 2019. The process of shifting is necessary for the company and it would provide certain benefits as well. The company can look up for new ways of working. Also, any changes needed in the working culture could be implemented.
Project Scope
This project involves shifting of office from original place to a newly constructed building. This would involve packing stuff from the original space and then installation in the new area. The project manager would assign duties to staff so that there is no delay or mismanagement in the shifting process.
