This is the assignment.You are an executive team responsible for moving your company to a new building. Create a company name, the type of business and as many fictitious employees and outsource companies that you need to to accomplish your goal of a smooth and complete transition to the new building to take place over one three-day weekend. The only fixed dates for your documents are the new building should be completed July 15th. And the move will happen the week of August 5th, 2019. Use your imagination on all pieces.In the first meeting (by April 22nd) your job is to:
Elect a project manager
Divide up the pieces of the Project Charter
include the business case, project scope, background, milestone schedule, risks & constraints, resource list, stakeholder list, commitments with signatures.
Refer to Contemporary Project Management Chapter 3.
In the second meeting (by April 26th) the assigned deliverables will be submitted by the individual that did the assigned parts. The elected project manager will combine the parts into one document named "Project Charter" and submit in the assignment dropbox.
