Phase 2: Design Variations and Material Testing

Each student must analyze at least 3 variations on your preliminary bridge design. Variations may include member sizing, bridge height, member orientation, number of members, overall shape, etc.- explore lots of different ideas. Coordinate your efforts so that each group member explores a different variation. You may use SolidWorks for your calculations but hand calculations are also acceptable.


Submit a brief report outlining your analytical results as well as a discussion of how you will change your design based on these results.Clearly, label individual calculations.
