What is learnt in the class readings?
Each of the context
s discussed in the current philosophy course work are about the racial oppression and the views and feelings of great leaders and writers from the historical timelines of USA. For instance MLK expressed his grief and anger over the ghettoization of African Americans in US. Particularly the segregation of the blacks in the south in public facilities like transport, housing, employment, education etc. They are quite expressive of the pathetic situation of the blacks of US at that time. Du bois, insightful expression of the fact that what all Negros need is just education(Dubois 330), it is not a question whether they need a separate school or a mixed school in the article is quite catchy and reflects the true picture and the plight of negro kids of those days.
