Introduction
In the 21st century, the competition for business management in this daily evolving market is really fierce. The term management depicts the notion of the superintendent of any organization. The primary function of management within an organization is to aid in achieving the objectives and goals of that company in an efficient and effective way.
The underpinnings of this business case analysis are to discuss the overview of the selected company Huawei, USA. Alongside that, the business and governance structure of this company, the various environmental factors that conduct an impact on the performance of the company and the business practices of the company have been covered briefly.
1. Overview of Huawei Enterprise USA
Huawei is recognized as one of the leading providers of information and communications technology in the global market. Huawei enterprise servers and sells the telecom equipment and consumers electronics across the world. This technology company was established in the year 1987 by Ren Zhengfei. The headquarters of this company is in China (Bloomberg, 2019).
This company focuses on manufacturing phones later on it has expanded its business in the arena of telecom networks and the industry of Huawei has escalated in the network and telecom equipment market as well. Huawei serves for the world market and it is expanding its business like wildfire. According to a survey done in the year 2018, it has been noticed that more than 320,000 employees are actively working for the company regularly (Bloomberg, 2019).
2. Effect of External and Internal Factors on Decision-Making as well as Performance of Huawei Enterprise
(a) Business Structure and Governance Structure of Huawei Enterprise
Huawei Enterprise is a very popular organization within the United States. This organization is very popular for communication services. In this age of modernization, communication is a very important platform to acquire for the success of a business organization. That is why when this organization came up with the development of the communication sector it became very popular amongst the customers.
Telecommunications is a very wide sector and there is a very high scope for the growth and development in the international platform in this age of globalization. However, as argued by Richter, Cepeda-Carrion, Roldan Salgueiro and Ringle (2016), to acquire that position, this organization has to design a very important business and governance structure, which can make the organization and the different activities very much organized. This portion deals with the detailed observation of the business structure and the governance structure of the organization itself.
There are different organizational groups present in the business structure of the organization and they are capable of controlling different activities within the organization. This organization has a firm and steady human resource management system and after that, some groups are there to manage the different financial aspects related to the organization. Above all this structure includes a total of three heads, which are addressed as the independent auditor, the board of directors and the supervisory boards (Arslanagic-Kalajdzic, Balboni, Kadic-Maglajlic & Bortoluzzi, 2017).
Because of this structural separation, every group of the organization can handle the different activities with the better managerial skill, which is also beneficial for the organization. The governance structure depends upon this business structure as well. The different set of groups governs different sets of activities. The finance groups govern all the financial activities whereas human resource management actually covers different activities like recruiting interviewing or handling a certain kind of situation within the organization (Rigdon, 2016).
