The Global Societal Problem
The advancement of technology for speech recognition, robotics, language problems and automation of cars and even smart textiles can be the recent developments that make society a revolutionary outcome. However, on the other hand, various global issues that would have taken much more time to be solved can bring down the time and complication through artificial intelligence.
However, there are so certain risks associated with the one, which has a harmful impact on society, at large and it is doing more harm than good to the people at large. That is why; it becomes important to address this global issue, based on academic support to overcome the problems and to come up with solutions that, if applied, can provide greater success with its application in the vast majority of the field.
Thesis Statement
Based on its implementation, artificial intelligence can be a boon and bane in various aspects for sustainable development in the near future. This can be a boon while bringing development in education, medicines, treatment, automobile industry and organizational competency enhancement. While at the same time, this can have a severe threatening outcome that can replace the need of human beings and can be mis-utilized for cyber security hacking.
Background Information
AI is termed as a bane because it can pose tangible harm to humans through reduction and job cuts, which puts humanity in a questionable state across all industries. The capability is a big issue and challenge in all sectors, which can be, for instance, with the self-driving car and if something goes wrong and then who would be responsible for that remains a question yet. The designing of AI can be biased based on the data that is being used (Chen, Xie, Zou & Hwang, 2020).
Besides, some important algorithms could be skipped, which might pose functional and structural business problems. A large number of jobs can be replaced with a single introduction of the AI, which can lead to severe unemployment and balancing this can be troublesome for the common mass. Safety security risks are very much intrinsic, which is poorly regulated and it can put people in the situation of being harmed by it. Moreover, with all of this, transparency remains a challenge for people.
An Argument Supporting your Proposed Solutions
The impact of this artificial intelligence and its automation depends on the company's sentient approach and the country's legislative reaction (Wu, 2019). There is another impact, which is the atrophy of skills that state the diagnostic ability of the medical experts. Accepting and implementing that which might lead to the creation, substitution of old jobs by companies as well as nations through well-prepared policies and planning can eliminate the threats posed to them.
The hybrid combination of the human and the machine can be the future in the jurisdiction where data issues, technological issues and security issues can be solved (Wu, 2019). AI would be a helping hand that will not replace the human but will only strengthen and provide accuracy to the finding and world done by the human. Critical analysis with better precision can be possible through the hybrid approach in all aspects.
While people will be at a distance, then remote medicines will be served through drones, while at hospitals, it will only be utilized to enhance the doctor's fury but never to replace the doctor's responsibility. Partial dependency on the technology with the admixture of...
