This can be a very emotional topic and assignment for many as it taps into the core beliefs we have about ourselves, which if destructive, can greatly affect the quality of our lives. If you struggle with self-esteem issues this assignment will give you the opportunity to reflect on and challenge such issues. Remember to practice self-awareness (noticing, observing, or identifying without judgment), self-honesty, and compassion as these components help us to understand and accept ourselves, which in turn, allows us to resolve beliefs that don’t serve us and create new ones that do.
