this assignment is from unit ( ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS ) , since there was no option to choose for this unit, i choose management.the weight of this assignment is 30% ( week 8 15% and week 12 15%) . this assignment is about reflection of what we have studied so far, what knowledge i have gained so far. please read the description before doing the assignment. since it has 2 parts week 8 and week 12 , make them separate . so that it will be much easier for me to submit the assignment.


1 Unit BISY2005 Enterprise Systems Assessment Type Reflection Assessment Number Four Assessment Name Weighting Reflection 30% Due Date/Time Week 8, & 12 Two reflections to be submitted to Moodle by week ending Friday 5:00pm (AEST) Assessment Description Twice throughout the course of studying the subject you are required to reflect on what you are learning in the subject and to identify how your knowledge is developing. This is a very personal exercise and may involve you reporting on what you know you don’t know. Most learners don’t know what they don’t know at the beginning of studying a new subject. You will also be required to reflect on and evaluate your learning strategies and devise new strategies to better meet the demands of the subject if appropriate. Detailed Submission Requirements Reflections: 300 words (min.) – Each 15% • Submit reflection in either a Word document or PDF file format to the submission assessment link on Turnitin. • You are reflecting on what you have learned and how you might apply your newfound knowledge and skills in achieving your personal or work-related goals. • Reflections should demonstrate evidence of developing understanding of the subject, demonstrate evidence of sustained and disciplined effort to study, and demonstrate evidence of self-improvement and evaluation of your learning strategies. Special consideration Students whose ability to submit or attend an assessment item is affected by sickness, misadventure or other circumstances beyond their control, may be eligible for special consideration. No consideration is given when the condition or event is unrelated to the student's performance in a component of the assessment, or when it is considered not to be serious. Students applying for special consideration must submit the form within 3 days of the due date of the assessment item or exam. It can be said that the enterprise system is also known as enterprise resource planning system (ERP) and it is the cross functional system that tend to provide organization-wide integration and coordination with regard to the main business process and helps in planning the resources of a company. Furthermore, I am also learning enterprise system is mainly the generic solution. The skills that I have gained in this course are IT knowledge and skills and Management (Giachetti, 2016).
This particular subject is providing me an in-depth understanding of the Enterprise Systems. After learning abut these systems are, tutors taught us why these systems holds so much importance for the firms, via which I was able to observe different positions and jobs that are closely connected with the deployment and use of the ERPs. Throwing light on the above-mentioned discussion it can be also said that in this particular subject I am also learning to appreciate the managerial aspects that are mainly related to the selection along with the implementation of the ERPs. Secondly, I am also learning the ERP evolution and systems, elements, as well as architecture, understanding the drawbacks and benefits in terms of implementing the ERP systems and how ERP is helps a company for enhancing the productivity of the employees and efficiency. I have been also informed that business firms have become quite complicated and their business needs cannot be supported by an individual information system. Although it is always highlighted that ERP implementation can be quite beneficial for an organization but at the same time it is has been also taught in the class that ERP system implementation are quite risky.
