This assignment must include the following 3 components presented on 2 pages:
1. Page 1: A Title - come up with a unique and creative Title for your proposed essay. More tips for how to construct an effective Title will be provided in lecture slides. Centre your Title, and format the rest of the page so it looks exactly like the MLA guidebook’s example on page 3 -->MLA Citation Style GuideLinks to an external site.
2. Page 1: Underneath yourTitle, state your thesis inONE SENTENCEonly! Your thesis statement should respond to the topic in clear and explicit language. Your thesis statement should be presented as a single grammatically sound sentence. More tips for how to construct an effective thesis statement will be provided in lecture.The rest of the page will be blank.If you provide more than required, you will lose marks; all I need to see to check if you're on the right track is your thesis statement!
3. Page 2: Create a Works Cited page that lists the following permitted sources for your proposed essay:
- the film identified by your chosen topic
- the article identified by your chosen topic
- any other course readings you think you may utilize in your essay

Proper use of “quotation marks” and in-text citations (including time ranges) following MLA style are also required, as well as a Works Cited page.
