Answer to question 1
Nepotism indicates the form of favouritism within the culture of the organisation, and it became an obvious process within the workplace of the companies. In case of facing nepotism in the workplace, I will focus on the activities that would be assigned t
o me for the completion of the task. Within this context, I will control my emotions and behave professionally. With the controlling process of my feelings, I can perform my organisational activities with easy ways. It also will help me to complete the tasks with efficiency and success. Therefore, the maintenance of professional behaviours within the company instead of facing nepotism will offer opportunity in front of me to fight against the nepotism based on my developed performances. Maintenance of expected behaviours in the organisational structure will help resentment and me to reduce my frustration, anger from my mind that would come through nepotism (Sroka & Vveinhardt, 2018). Furthermore, I will take note of my works that would be performed by me in the organisation. Through the taking process of reminders of my activities can help me to develop my professional carter by taking the attention of my senior officers. Within this context, I will ask for advice to my senior officer to gather knowledge and information for developing my performances (Sharma & Sharma, 2017). Adoption of experience about the organisational activities will help me to make my progress against the nepotism that would be performed by others in the company.
Answer to question 2
Nepotism signifies the favouritism that is granted by the superiors of the companies in case of appointing their favourite one in the desired places. This process of favouritism is observed in every aspect of life. Within business, politics, sports, religion and other activities are also served the works of nepotism through their performances (Iqbal & Ahmad, 2020). The idea of nepotism is not fitted with my value system. In my view, everyone in different aspects of life should be treated based on their qualities. I think everyone must work hard to achieve success in his or her life, and in case of having qualities, no one needs to catch the hand of nepotism or favouritism for acquiring success in life. Not only that, but I also think that the leader in the companies should maintain fair practice to foster the performances of the employees in the organisation. As being a leader, they must not show any favouritism in the organisation to deliver hindrance in the growth of others in the company.
Answer to question 3
Yes, I will be able to stand up and say something.
Lack of presence of confidence within my mind delivers hindrance to stand up and say against something.
In the case of overcoming this kind of situation, I would not forget the virtue of patience and maintenance of patience within the mind will allow me to raise my voice against nepotism. In that case, it can be added that the presence of tolerance in mind also will allow me to present evidence against the wrong things. It also will help me to serve confidence in my voice at the time of fighting against that matter. Therefore, I will give a reality check to myself, and the delivery of the reality check will help me to analyse the real value against the incident that would happen. This reality checking process will allow me to counter the fact that offers hindrance in case of raising my voice to say something (Firfiray et al., 2018). The most important task that will be performed by me is the identification of my inner strength. This process defined that secretion of the positive characteristics of my life can help me to explain anything in front of others. Furthermore, my inner strength must offer confidence to me to stand up and say something in front of others.
Answer to question 4
Through the overview of the class discussion, it is recognised that in case of fighting against unethical works, one can get success in case of selecting the best paths for success. In that case, it came to be mentioned that the ability to stand up against unethical activities would help to catch the attention of the higher authorities for investigating that matter. With the involvement of investigation against the corrupt practices, the guilty will get punishment for performing such work (Rajpaul-Baptiste, 2018). This process not only helps to gain success in a professional career but also will help to deliver fair practices to others for achieving their required recognitions. Therefore, that fighting spirit against the unethical works also will offer encouragement to others to raise their voice against those actions in future aspects.
From these practices, I have learnt that everyone should raise their voice against the wrong thing. In case of avoiding this unethical practice, one encourages the wrong person to do that operation in their life. For this, in every aspect of life, there is the requirement of raising voice to make a strong protest against the unethical works of wrong...
