Share Price of the Last Two Years
James Hardie Industries Ltd is presently a publicly owned company. It is esse
ntially one of the Fibre Cement manufacturing corporations that are leading the field. Apart from that, they also invest huge amounts of sum for development and research purposes. They maintain their leadership in mass production along with premium quality globally and capitalise on it. Currently, the corporation is listed in Australia Securities Exchange as well as in the New York Stock Exchange, which makes it an ASX corporation. The business is primarily based in Melbourne, Australia. Now, they also operate in North America, New Zealand, and Europe. Recently, they have made their products and services available even in Asia starting from the Philippines (Mathews, 2019).
Being a publicly owned company, J. Hardie also trades their shares, buys, and sells shares of other companies as well. The revenue of the company comes from the investments and mostly on their revenue from selling their main products. Therefore, they share their share prices with a short delay of 20 minutes. Their published charts are ideally compared with All Ordinates, ASX 100 and ASX 200 (Jamal, 2016). As per the latest update the share price of the last two years (2018 and 2019) is given below

As it can be seen clearly in the images above, their security price was significantly high in 2018. In 2019, it has critically reduced.
Factors affecting Share Price
Now several things may affect the security or share price chart of a business. The change can be on a daily, quarterly, or monthly basis. The renowned business investor from North America has talked about incredible business plans and it makes an investment in it. He says, “In any business, there are going to be all kinds of factors that happen next week, next month, next year, and so forth. But the really important thing is to be in the right business” (Joo, 2017). It is certainly not easy to point out at which factor has made the prices drop profoundly or due to which one it has gone up.
If looking at it simply, it can be said that more demands of buying the shares rather than selling make the price go up. Moreover, due to the exact opposite, the price falls. However, this is more complicated than the said factors. Some factors only apply to certain types of business, especially the ones working in a comprehensive market. Meanwhile, some factors only apply to specific companies, probably because of their names (Tayeh, Al-Jarrah & Tarhini, 2015).
One of the factors is whether the company is initially making any money or running out of their invested amount. An organisation is always to publish an official report on their daily activities in the market. The report consists of daily investment, financial statements, if they are earning anything and if there is a profit in this. One of the key parts of the report is their plans and implementations to make a profit in the near future. Based on this, their prices may vary on the stock market. For instance, if the business makes revenue more than the expectations of shareholders, it is more likely for them to get more buyers than sellers (Unruh et al., 2016).
