This assessment task requires the student to plan and design a research project in an IT related area, based on their expression of interest. The student will be required to prepare a research design paper, highlighting scholarship and potential outcomes with a justification of the supporting methodology, and provide a discussion of the need for the research.

Requirements Students must submit a written research design and methodology report of approximately 2500 words. The report should include a synthesis of the literature reviewed, evidence for the research question/gap raised, the design of the proposed research project and a discussion of supporting methodologies and a justification for the chosen methodology. Your research design and methodology report should include the followings:

Summary of the literature review leading to research problems o Critical analysis of two of your most important references  Identification of the research problems and research questions  Methodology (Qualitative, Quantitative, or Mixed method)  Discussion on the adopted method and data collection procedure  In-text referencing and end of report reference section  Quality writing and flow between different sections .
