The report must include a contribution made by each member and a statement that there was equal contribution from all members. Analysis of the case study
1.1 Ethical issue of the case:
There are three types of issues tagged to the case study. They are
1. As the project is taken by the company is for the sake of the public welfare, primarily company
should have focused on the positive outcomes of the project rather than indulging the commercial throughputs.
2. Staff should have acted accordingly so that the breach of the trust with their stakeholders and management would not have took place.
3. Accepting the work which is beyond the competence of the resources of the company would result in a negative mark to the organization.
1.2 Connecting ACS code of professional conduct with issues:
ACS code of conduct refers to a code of ethics of a profession. This code of conduct has six core ethical values and associated responsibilities of each value. It usually applies to Information and communication technology professionals. The members must abide by these values and act with responsibility and integrity satisfying the societal needs.
Primacy of the public interest:
Although the interface turns out to be difficult to use, as it is associate with stakeholder and the public interests, staff should have not complained about the difficulty in the application of the process. As the developed accounting system is used by the government for the public which helps in reducing tax it brings lots of money saving economic environment. Hence potentially impacted customers by the work are stakeholders and the government. So developing the accounting software should done with utmost diligence.
“endeavor the confidentiality and the professional challenges with in the system ” as the software which is developed will be saving the taxation to the public and the result will be like a charity to the public from the side of government and indirectly by the side of computer company by accepting and performing the task by facing all the professional and also the technical challenges. Staff need to protect the difficulties regarding the assigned project from the higher level management and try solve the task with utmost knowledge and try to seek the information necessary from the technical experts if necessary and act accordingly to combine the different pieces of work like...
