This assessment is to be presented in an essay format, andtherefore it is appropriate to write a very brief introduction andconclusion (at most one or two sentences). You may want to brieflystate the patient situation/context, but do not re-write the entirecase study in your introduction. Please respond to the questions/instructions in a logical format. You may use headings to help organise your response.Dot points and charts are not acceptable.References must be current, preferably from the past five years.Your referencing should demonstrate wide-reading from a varietyof sources, such as texts, journals and clinical practice guidelines.Consider the quality rather than the quantity of the references youuse. Wikipedia,Better Health Channel and other generic websitesare not acceptable scholarly references. At this point in your BNwe expect you to engage with credible practice literature.Spelling, grammar and correct terminology are very important andtherefore it is advised to carefully read/review your essay prior tosubmission (or have another person read it) This assessment requires you to apply Clinical Reasoning in regard to the case of Mrs. Rhonda Bott, answering all of the questions. It should be prepared in academic essay format and does require a brief introduction and conclusion. You are able to use the questions as subheadings. Please read your unit outline carefully and refer to Appendix A for the case study questions. You do not need to overtly use the Clinical Reasoning Cycle, the language you use to approach the questions will show us how you can apply the necessary elements to the case. In appendix B you will find some helpful tips to get you started. There will be some more helpful hints placed in the allocated discussion area early in the semester.
