The week-to-week pattern of change in PSS-Fa, CBS, and PC-ACQ scores are similar, but they don’t follow exactly the same pattern (e.g., they’re not perfectly correlated). The fact that these patterns are somewhat different suggests that to some extent the three scales measure different targets, and this provides further support for their construct validity. If the week-to-week pattern of change were the same for each scale, it would suggest that they all measure the same target (e.g., perhaps just generalized distress), instead of distinct targets.
