The week-to-week pattern of change in burden and social support is similar—when PSS-Fa scores go up (i.e., support decreases), CBS scores also rise (i.e., perceived burden increases), and when PSS-Fa scores go down, CBS scores also decrease. Therefore, the PSS-Fa and the CBS appear correlated over time, and this provides support for the construct validity of these two scales.
