INTRODUCTION
How innovative technology and strategies helps in improving the company performance is a significant research problem which needs to be analysed to accomplish goals. A useful and unique strategy has been adopted to examine the impact of the resource-based view which provides a competitive advantage over the competitors. The basic justification of the resource-based view is that the performance of the company is decided by the unique resources it owns which makes it different from the competitors in the marketplace. When the Resource view strategy is applied to scrutinise the effect of the unique resource on the company competitive advantage, it is considered as the best strategy to keep shine in the crowd. KPMG is a professional service company that has exceptional expertise in the tax and advisory, and audit and insurance providing their services globally. The KPMG mainly focuses on its corporate values, clear mission and vision to achieve success which makes it different from their competitors. The company respects the cultural diversity and believes to have human resources from vibrant culture to bring out best in the people. It has given freedom of communication so that employees may able to interact with each other freely. The company believes in having a superior human resources power to bring success and retaining their position among the competitors (Zhuang & Lederer, 2012).
The Resource-based view mainly argues that company possesses a resource which helps them to attain competitive advantage and long-term performance goals.
The organisation of this given assignment will be as follows; the introduction section will be a research proposal which will be followed by the problem statement, Research questions/objectives, Justification for the proposed proposal and expected results will be explained in this part. The next part will include the conceptual framework and research hypothesis which will be followed by a research methodology. In the last, Organization of the study, Gantt chart, schedule chart, and proposed budget will be added to elaborate the assignment. The conclusion will be added in the last to find the finding of the fact.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Resource-based view synchronises with the company competitive advantage with its internal and external resources. It becomes a tool for maximising the company productivity and profitability. According to the research, resource-based view misses the operational validity and managerial implication. The resource-based theory explains that the company manager has to obtain and construct strategic resources that come across the criteria rareness, valuable, non-substitutional and non-imitable and how these elements can be developed. But the theory never explains how a manager can perform it. The resource-based view brings many regresses. The company who can put their best in various practice can be undertaken by the firm who have a better capability to use these practices is the issues which is not recognised in the resource-based theory. The resource-based theory cannot be applied in small-scale firms which have only static resource. Therefore the project aims to find out how these theories are beneficial and impact the company performance with using its unique resources which makes them different from their competitors. To understand this theory, it is necessary to get these terms:
· Competitive advantage: It is the implementation of this technology which is not identified by the competitive firms that provide; cost reduction, exploitation of market opportunities, and competitive threats neutralisation.
· Resources: It comprised of numerous sources resources which a firm own in the form of human resources, corporate values and many more.
· Capabilities: It is the firm ability to utilise its resources in the best possible manner to gain competitive advantage.
In this report, the focus is on the KPMG company that how it maintains the successful implementation of the Resource-based view.

By reviewing various journal articles, it is to be believed that the authors mostly focused on how resource-based view can be analysed based on several elements but they didn't explain how a company performs resource-based view effectively. This study focuses on the impact of the resource based to gain the competitive advantage over the competitors. The research is very essential to know how the companies can procure maximum benefit from its resources and gain a competitive advantage in the massive competitions. The research also explains that limitation of this study that company has many ideas to explore this strategy but no ways to perform it effectively.
The research will benefit the large-scale company to develop a unique resource strategy to bring more productivity and profitability. The large scale business will be the end users most of the time as they use a flexible resource to conduct business activities. The resource-based view will help the company to focus on the internal resources rather than making the big investment to win the competitive environment (Rai & Patnayakuni, 2017).
