The task is to provide a critical review of a journal article in relation to an event that has been evaluated either conceptually or via various methodologies (such as observation, survey or interviews). Using a blend of theory and industry case studies, critically analyse aspects that show innovation and impacts. Examples of innovation are: new technologies in events; social inclusion and legacy; new cutting-edge sustainability practices; transformational events; innovative business models etc Examples of impacts include: socio-economic, environmental, cultural, political, technological, various legacies etc. The file should be saved as word document so that I am able to put my student details and cover page in the document. According to the theory of social exchange, the effect of the Olympic Games is all relies on the fact that the attitude and the perception of the population of the host city plays significant role. Vast majorities of social innovation in some countries drive by necessity, and takes place at the grassroots level. At the level constraints are high and the resources minimal, which makes such innovations extremely simple, economical and usually very sustainable. As mentioned by Scandizzo and Pierleoni (2018) this paper is the review of the Olympic Games, in the border criteria of their importance creates opportunity and develops rare cultural assets endogenetic growth complements with the substantial development of the host city. It describes economic assessment of the games, keeping in mind the underlying methods and concept of the economics. At the end, the conclusion of the paper shows the positive effects, in addition with a written disposition to overemphasize the advantages and underestimate the total value of the organizing the Olympics in ex ante versus the ex post studies. Very few cities have demonstrated a profit from hosting the Olympic games. Countries attempt to recover direct costs in ticket sales, media contracts and visitor’s expenditure. It also attempts to recover costs via increased long-term tourism, flow-on effect of short-term boost to the economy and general increase in prominence. Also the city can write-off some construction costs against necessary infrastructure builds. The second section of the paper is culture analysis, third is survey and fourth is economic evaluation.
The paper concentrates on the fact that expenditure for the infrastructure, visitor’s expectation and the additional demand of the local population is the result of the Olympic Games aspects. The consequences of the paper shown that the staging events have favorable impact on the public budget, in addition with, affect on both economies that is national as well as regional.
