A sneak and peek search as the name suggest is a controversial wa
y of conducting a search by the police office by physically entering into a premises, which may be a private home or a commercial one without the permission and knowledge from the occupants or the owners. That is the reason this way of search is also considered as controversial as it hampers the society mind set and is a dangerous and radical threat to civil rights and to the security of all our homes and persons. So in a sneak and peek search warrant at time ethics are compromised and is also called as a delayed notice warrant or covert entry search warrant into a premises by breaking. This was first seen to be used in investigations in the US, under the USA Patriot act in 2001.
