You may use your introduction to explain why you chose to study this topic or save that explanation for the conclusion. Please double-space and remember to indent all paragraphs throughout your paper (not block form!). Unless citing a classic work, aim to cite research articles and texts published within the past 5 years. This should be the bulk of your paper. Conclusion Please provide a conclusion that summarizes the main ideas of your paper. Discuss what you found to be found to be the most interesting piece of information. You may also theorize what the future trends for the topic you studied might look like, given the data you read. How did this research help you understand this topic better? APA PAPER TEMPLATE 3 When you finish writing your paper, re-read it to check for errors and make sure your ideas flow well. A helpful tip is to read your paper aloud to yourself. If it does not sound right to your ear – it is not working on paper! Please submit your papers to SafeAssign to check for plagiarism. APA PAPER TEMPLATE 4 References Gladding, S. T., & Newsome, D. W. Below is a list of common errors; please pay particular attention to: • indenting • use of upper and lower case • italics • use of double-spacing • comma/period placement • alphabetical order by author last name (or, if no author, by article title) • placement of dates in APA style • author name arrangement (i.e. last name and initials vs full name) Research paper Patrick Williams Sex Trafficking in Dubai My research question is why Dubai has a high rate of sex trafficking and why the government not doing much about the sex trafficking that is happening in the country. I choose this because sex trafficking is at an all time high in Dubai. It makes you wonder with a wealthy country like that why is sex trafficking happening and nothing is being done about it. After visiting that country multiple of time myself I always wondered how government officials and law enforcement not seeing this happening right in front of them. It makes me wonder if they know and payed by sex traffickers not to look or worry about what’s going on around them. In my thoughts I believe that they contribute to the cause or even purchase sex for pleasure. Many tourist are kidnapped and force into trafficking, which let me know that it is not safe to travel to the country alone. It is very important to research where to go and not to go in certain parts of the country. Then you have people from other countries that are recruited into trafficking. They are promised a better life and a good paying, then once they got there, their identity have been taken from them and including their passports so they are not able to leave the country. After doing minor researching on my research paper not only women are sexually traded but also men. All this is happening in major resorts and hotels in Dubai and tourist are engaging in the trafficking which is helping fund sex trafficking daily. Most people are not speaking up about it or maybe afraid too because they can not trust their own government or law officials.

Summary
Slavery
The history of slavery and human trafficking roots back to colonialism and imperialism until the 19th century; to free slaves from this, the support of political acts were taken which in turn need the support of economic, social and psychological factors in many cases but the conditions persisted like that only (Kara, 2017). Until 1960 more than 200,000 slaves were found in French colonies. The consequences of slavery are visible when uneven social and economic development is considered. In fact slavery exists in modern society even after 19th century in countries where rich and poor lives as it defines the poverty levels. From industrial slave labour under the Nazis, to the gulag as serfdom in Soviet Russia, to slavery in Africa and the Americas, the brutal, inhuman practice of slavery is still with us (Zimmerman & Kiss, 2017).
There are two ways to discuss the timeline of slavery namely history and anthropology. The historical part reflects the earlier political system and anthropology accounts for 10% of slavery studies (Kotiswaran & Kotiswaran, 2017). The earliest records of slavery in humanity date back to 720 BC. The African slave trade which was operated in Sahara desert proves first sign of selling human. In ancient times slavery resulted as a consequence of war for social and human development. The Greeks and Turks kept slaves as a feature of societal hierarchies whereas Roman armies kept for the development of their empires (KYRIAZI, 2020). In 1446 chattel slavery born when Portugal claimed its possession over Guniea. African was forced into slavery by way of kidnapping. They were transported to foreign lands, got beating and threat to their loved and family members. They were held captive without food and water. They had no one to take care of them or support them emotionally. They were treated as their property (KOVÁCS, 2020). They had least resorts to escape from the scene. The result derived out of it was even horrible. The children born out of this slavery were also sold. In other words we can say that fraud, force and coercion were the means by which these traffickers impose their will on them (KYRIAZI, 2020).
By the mid 1800’s the world began to witness anti-slavery legislations. Brazil one the largest African slave importer started banning slave trade. After fifteen years, in US involuntary servitude was passed. Portugal also made slavery illegal. But till 1981 the chattel slavery lasted in West African nations. Though chattel slavery ended but still modern version of same exists in the...
