The Questions appendix contains a piece by Richard Dawkins (passage 57) which concludes as follows: ‘Science offers us an explanation of how complexity (the diffi cult) arose out of simplicity (the easy). The hypothesis of God offers no worthwhile explanation for anything, for it simply postulates the diffi cult to explain and leaves it at that. We cannot prove that there is no God, but we can safely conclude that He is very, very improbable indeed.’ Using all you have learned so far, write a response to Dawkins’ argument in no more than 1,000 words.
