This chapter applies the management concept to the requirements of the active application of revenue management. Before making any decision, the manager must pay attention to all five elements to improve the hotel's profitability and achieve great success.

Regardless of the types of hotels or rooms available in a particular hotel, effective hotel revenue management strategies are necessary for success. The revenue management strategy depends on the hotel’s excellent restaurant management system, proper advertising, and staffing. At any time, hotel operators will seek ways to boost hotels revenue while providing competitive hotel rooms rates (O'Fallon & Rutherford, 2011).
