	 Digital health information systems have evolved to create radical changes to the manner in which the health care organizations are functioning.  Digital health information systems work on to improve the efficiency with which the organizations do function for providing health care services to the people.  Recent digital health information system solutions can provide range of services like data management and analytics, cost control, integrative accounting and information management, compliance and so and so forth.  Effective management of the digital health systems is very much needed. The following write-up is presented with a critical analysis and evaluation of digital health information systems of John Muir Health.  The key focus of evaluation is on the information record and accounting of the digital health information systems. 
Background of the organization:
John Muir Health is a health care service headquartered in California the organization is serving Contra Costa County as well as few communities in the surrounding areas. There is merger of two organizations John Muir Medical center and Mt. Diablo Medical Center. It is mainly trauma centre however there is health care service available for neurosciences, orthopaedics, cancer care, cardiovascular care and high risk obstetrics as well.  Also there are services of general surgery, robotic surgery, weight loss surgery, rehabilitation and other critical care services. It is networked with about 23 health care services being operated by more than about 900 physicians in the region. Since its inception in 1996, the organization has become the largest in the region. Walnut creek campus of the organization is visited for study of digital health information systems (JohnMuir).
Scope
The current review and focus is on information systems recording and accounting aspects of the digital health care information systems. Above aspects of the health care systems are selected due to the reason that these aspects of data recording and accounting are the most significant aspects for health care organization.
