The name “Corleone” means lion-hearted, a term usually applied to England’s King Richard the Lion-Hearted. Is it possible that the very name of the Godfather is an ironic application? Or do you feel that the Godfather’s behavior is as noble as Richard the Lion-Hearted’s? Why is there any confusion about this?
