The MM1 Template.xlsx file is now set up so that when you enter any time value in cell H11, the formula in cell I11 gives the probability that the wait in queue will be greater than this amount of time. Suppose that you would like the information to go the other direction. That is, you would like to specify a probability, such as 0.05, in cell I11 and obtain the corresponding time in cell H11. Try doing this as follows with Excel’s Goal Seek tool. Use the Tools./Goal Seek menu items to get to a dialog box.
