The mean age of a random sample of 25 people playing the slot machines at a casino is 48.7 years and the standard deviation is 6.8 years.  Also the mean age of a random sample of 35 people who were playing roulette is 55.3 years with a standard deviation of 3.2 years.  Test the claim that the mean age of those playing slot machines is smaller than the mean age of those playing roulette.  Use a level of significance of 0.05.  State the null and alternative hypotheses.  Determine the test statistic.  You may use either the critical value method or the p-value method.  Explain how you make your decision.  State your conclusion in nontechnical terms.
