The Life Ball Event does not simply start in the evening when guests arrive; the real starting point is when the year’s motto is revealed, months before the actual event. The actual Life Ball weekend itself is all for the good cause. The night before the Life Ball the Red Ribbon Celebration Concert takes place, where internationally known musicians and actors perform. The following morning there is an international press conference meant as a platform for organisations and celebrities to present their commitment to the fight against HIV and AIDS.
