The internal diameter of a large batch of pressure vessels is measured by destructive
testing of 8 samples taken randomly from the batch. If the sample mean is 346 mm
with a standard deviation of 7 mm, express the upper and lower bounds to a confidence level of 95% on the range in which the mean value lies for the internal diameter of the whole batch.
