The growth mindset says that intelligence can grow like a muscle (neurons grow) and be taught. Embrace learning, work hard, and see that effort is the key. Mistakes are a natural part of learning; confront them.
The fixed mindset says we are born with a level of intelligence and are limited to it. If things don’t come naturally without work, you don’t have ability or talent. (Carole Dweck, 2013).
Give two examples of things enjoyed learning, one for facts or academic and one of your choice. Discuss how they benefited you and made you feel successful.
