The following is an informal description of a subsystem to compute employees’ salaries: The subsystem is able to accept an employee key from an interactive user or from an employee record file that contains personal information and the employee’s current salary. Based on the information recorded in a monthly file concerning the employee’s work times, the system prints the salary for the month in question. Upon a request from the user, the subsystem also prints all the employees who did not work during the month. Produce DFDs at all levels.
