here is the link to the video of what the client want

https://youtu.be/DkXtlRwerFk

here are what the client want

The client's vision of the application has specific aspects she wants incorporated. She expressed that the target audience should be adolescents 12-19 years old. When taking this into account we need to be sure the application appeals to this age group. The application needs social media connections built into the interface. The application should also include current music, graphic images, and possibly a spokesperson or celebrity that appeals to the age group. These aspects will garner the attention of app users. The ability to refresh content regularly should be implemented because this is a fast-faced and quick-thinking age demographic. Popularity is ever changing within this age realm and the app should reflect that.

The primary purpose the client identified for this application is that is supposed to provide resources. The client specified that the resources included should be medical and everyday life examples provided in video format. Resources could be confusing if they contradict each other. This is where it’s important to research and vet all resources provided to ensure they are accurate and consistent. Constant updates will need to be provided in this area as well. Medical practice and care are constantly evolving as well as our everyday lives. It was also expressed that the application should be localized specifically to the Dekalb area with possible expansion later.

Communication was discussed with the client and it was established that the application should have an English and Spanish option. This is an element that should be included in the introductory/home page.

Security was brought up extensively when discussing the application design. The client wants to make sure the application is HIPAA compliant and protects patient information. The client expressed they would like to have a medication list built into the app. Access to this medication list by the user may require and additional 2-step login. The application will also need a 128-bit encryption and parental consent if the app user is under 18.

The client would like the application to be accessible on Android and Apple applications and phone, tablet, and computer devices. The design should be lucid and simple allowing for familiarity across all of these platforms and devices.

1. Secure login (at least 128-bit encryption) for adolescents 12-19 years old that mostly have Type 1 diabetes.

This means requiring a username and password authenticated before granting access to the application.

Additionally, a way to reset password or retrieve username if forgotten.

2. A way to create new account

This includes entering the child’s information and setting up a username and password.

Ability to uploading a consent form if under the age of 18.

3. Links to local resources related to health care

This includes resources that are related to managing type 1 diabetes

Could include medication interactions

Any other health resources chosen

4. Information related to their own medications
