The filling station example is a specific example of the general problem of producing a package for a point-of-sale system. Follow through the first three steps of the JSP method to design a program that will control a supermarket till: the program accepts input from a barcode reader and the keys of the till in order to read the details of each item and the number of items. The till should print out the details of each transaction, and should also print out the final total price when the ‘total’ key is pressed.
