Airwallex is a global financial technology company established in 2015 by four Chinese founders in Melbourne, Australia. It is a new start-up company created to provide high speed and low cost cross-border transaction facilities through API platform. The entrepreneurs of Airwallex endeavoured to gain the confid
ence and trust of the investors by application of various entrepreneurial theories like the sociological entrepreneurship theory, opportunity based theory and resource based entrepreneurial theory. This helped Airwallex to earn huge capitals to increase their equity base and acquire new client globally. The recent investment made in Airwallex was to the amount of $160 million by ANZi Venture and Salesforce Ventures. This gained huge confidence and funding for Airwallex. Now they plans to grow internationally by expanding their business with various new products and application related to easy and low cost transaction and e-commerce business through API platform. Airwallex has more than 400 employees in its 10 offices situated globally. The revenue of Airwallex as on March 2019 is valued at $1 billion.

Introduction
Business Venture is a start-up company which is constructed in order to generate profitability. These businesses are small and medium sized businesses and are funded by diverse groups and supportive organisations for generating returns from investment or by offering products and services in return.
Both, business venture and start-up capital are same but differs in terms of growth perspective. While a start-up wants to grow quickly be selling its product in a large market, business ventures can be grown in a small and medium sized market. In this, analysis we will discuss on a $160 million business venture by an Australian fintech unicorn Airwallex and venture arm of ANZ Bank and CRM giant Salesforce. The main purpose of this venture is to allow various companies manage their cross-border revenues and ease them in transacting and financing. These new funds from the ANZ venture arm ANZi Ventures and Salesforce Ventures will be used for creating a new product lines, help in accelerating expansion in other markets and help to gradually acquire new payment companies.
We will discuss on the various strategies that have been considered while initiating this project, the factors that have been considered to shape this venture and the solutions and development process of this new venture.

Australian company Airwallex is a global financial technology company which was founded by a group of Chinese people in 2015 in Melbourne. It offers low cost financial technological services through its high speed proprietary infrastructure, global platforms and Application programming interface (API). The company acts as an intermediary and allows the small and medium business organisations to process the collections and payments transparently in various currencies. Airwallex also offers various enterprise related products like Visa cards for borderless monetary exchanges. The founders of Airwallex were previously owners of coffee shop in Melbourne. It was Jack Zhang and Max Li who started the coffee shop business. They soon decided to start a financial payment platform for transaction of cross-border exchanges along with two other Chinese Lucy Liu and Xijing Dai. They name the company Airwallex. It grew gradually and became the No. 1 fastest growing $1 billion start-up company in Australian history. Their idea of starting the new cross-border fintech company at a low cost was initiated when the two ordered coffee cups from overseas for which the traditional banks in Australia charged exorbitant fees. This was actually a business of Transfer-wire. Products of Airwallex consist of Scale, Payments, Global Accounts, Transactional FX, Payouts and Issuing.
