In this study legal regulations are analyzed in the light of the available facts and data about issues related to the breastfeeding at workplace. In spite of the passing of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, there are still instances where proper breastfeeding is not acknowledged by law especially in the context of small workplaces. The highlights of the study include the fact that only 29 states have supported the law of breastfeeding at workplace which is not enough though, the implementation of the law in these states have increased the leverages granted to mothers in terms of providing breastfeeding facilities.
