The Discussion Board (DB) is part of the core of online learning. Classroom discussion in an online environment requires the active participation of students and the instructor to create robust interaction and dialogue. Every student is expected to create an original response to the open-ended DB question as well as engage in dialogue by responding to posts created by others throughout the week. At the end of each unit, DB participation will be assessed based on both level of engagement and the quality of the contribution to the discussion.

At a minimum, each student will be expected to post an original and thoughtful response to the DB question and contribute to the weekly dialogue by responding to at least two other posts from students. The first contribution must be posted before midnight (Central Time) on Wednesday of each week. Two additional responses are required after Wednesday of each week. Students are highly encouraged to engage on the Discussion Board early and often, as that is the primary way the university tracks class attendance and participation.

The purpose of the Discussion Board is to allow students to learn through sharing ideas and experiences as they relate to course content and the DB question. Because it is not possible to engage in two-way dialogue after a conversation has ended, no posts to the DB will be accepted after the end of each week.

·Think about the business decision you discussed in Unit 1's Discussion Board. Your supervisor had asked that you expand on your self-evaluation by identifying at least two judgment issues that you had to address. Write a memo to your supervisor describing these issues.

·Explain how you addressed them and the degree to which your decision was based on expedience and/or reflection. Potential issues include: bias, or ethical issues related to the availability heuristic, bias related to the representative heuristic, bias related to anchoring and adjustment, avoiding uncertainty, framing effects, positive illusions, egocentrism, and regret avoidance.

Use the Library or other Web resources to support your argument. Be sure to cite your sources using APA Style 6th edition guidelines

scenarios, every individual has to take certain decisions. In general context these decisions are
made or revised to enhance the efficiency of organizational performance and productivity.
Although, decisions are made in favor of organizational benefits but certain inappropriate
consideration to current scenarios and other biasness or ethical approach related issues makes the
decision partially favorable and less effective. Some of the potential issues affecting rational
decision making can be mentioned as: bias, or ethical issues related to the availability and
representative heuristic, bias related to anchoring and adjustment, framing effects, egocentrism,
positive illusions, avoiding uncertainty and regret avoidance.
In order to make the insight much clearer and understandable some real world
experiences are shared here. In first situation, scenario under discussion is about two employees
who have usual habit of coming late in office (more than three times in a week), being affected
of which they usually fails to complete their assignments within specified deadline. This
behavior also wouldn’t allow them to take routine breaks. As soon as this fact came into my
knowledge, I have decided not to approach directly and scold them for such behavior. However,
