The director of a shipping company believes that there is a relationship between the cost of a customer’s shipment (£) and the weight (lb) of the package being shipped. For investigating this possible relationship, a random sample of nine customer shipments was selected and the weight (in lb) and the cost (rounded to the nearest £) for each shipment were recorded.
