The content will be turned into a brochure for the public describing the four (4) major issues: economic situation, special needs (e.g., health) of the population being served, process, and benefits of the program. She asked you to include two (2) visuals to illustrate the issues.

  1. Provide a clear thesis statement.

  2. Describe the economic issues.

  3. Describe the special needs (e.g., health) of the population being served.

  4. Describe the process (decisions, steps) involved in the program.

  5. Explain the benefits of the program.

  6. Include two (2) visuals that illustrated two (2) different claims.

  7. Develop a coherently structured paper with an introduction, body, and conclusion.

  8. Provide three (3) relevant and credible sources to support claims.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

Introduction
Hunger is one of the sensational attribute of human living which causes severe damages to the
physical and mental health, downfall in the performance at the workplace or in social activities.
Families below the poverty line are usually the victim of such and above poverty line individuals
or families can also have to face such circumstances, as an effect of the financial crisis because
of lost jobs, stolen purse or theft in premise, unexpected loss or expense of income, medical
emergency, etc. In order to resolve such issues to the best possible extent food pantries, closet or
kitchens, etc plays crucial role in fight against hunger and poverty.
Economic Issues of Food Pantry
The prime purpose of the food pantries is to facilitate free food to the eligible
candidates or residents of the region. It serves the individuals and families on temporary or
permanent basis who were being affected by certain economic situations like financial crisis,
unexpected loss or expanse, medical emergencies etc. As food pantry’s are dependent on the
food donations and financial assistance of the individuals, which getting minimize because of
high food prices, concern of restaurants and organizations towards minimization of food
wastages, thus it causes more contingent problems in facilitating food pantries on permanent and
continuous basis. Due to high extent of reliability on external grants food pantries usually faces
economic issues like inclined operational cost, restricted or reduced donations, rise in the food
prices and inclining numbers of families seeking assistance of food pantries. (Keller, 2009)
