The data in Table 9.25 are the results of an experiment for studying the effectiveness of two concentrations (100 and 1000 ppm) of three fungicides for controlling
wilt in young watermelon plants. Five pots, having seeds infected with the wilt-causing fungus, were randomly assigned to each of the six factor level combinations. The response is the percent of germinated plants surviving to the 48th day.
