TERM 2 2013 - ASSESSMENT ONE DETAILS
Individual Assignment (Weight 10%)
Required:-
1. Identify an industry of choice which may include the entertainment, food, travel,
housing, etc industries. The choice is yours. DO NOT look at specific organisations.
This task is aimed at you analysing the industry factors that effect, or may effect,
organisations in it considering expansion or new players entering the industry.
2. Concepts that should be included are PESTLE and Opportunities and Feasibility
Analysis.
3. Prepare a three summary of your findings.
4. Ensure you demonstrate sources of your information (ie: what research have you
conducted to help inform your analysis?
5. Harvard Referencing must be used.
This is an individual task. Due at the beginning of your class in Week 4 (Class A – 8
August and Class B – 9 August). Tutorial time will be allocated to help you prepare your
submission.
A penalty of 10% of the available mark will be applied for each day the assessment is late.
If the assessment is more than one week late without acceptable reason or prior approval,
your work will not be marked and you will receive a zero for this assessment.
