Educational institutions in countries affected by Covid-19 were forced<br>to act quickly instead of strategically study, design, and adapt to changes in the new teaching and<br>learning setting (Thompson & Lodge, 2020). This posed an enormous challenge since most<br>educational systems are not yet prepared. However, digital learning appears to be the solution at<br>this time (Marshal & Kostka, 2020; Palsdottir, 2020). Therefore countries must learn from this<br>experience and start designing contingency plans during difficult times like this.<br>Despite these challenges education departments and ministries worldwide face, some<br>heroes have to be commended for their selfless love and dedication to their profession and for<br>their students despite the risks they face.
